Help for creating and managing tasks inside MathMatize classrooms

Classroom Tasks

Tasks are assigned activities inside a classroom. A task controls what students work on, when they can access it, how results are shown, and how grades can be reviewed or synced.

Common workflow

1. Open the Content tab of your classroom, create/select a module and click "add task".
2. Choose the task type. The options are polls, assessments, and practices.
3. Add exercises or other content.
4. Configure availability, layout, scoring, and settings.
5. Activate the task from the Assign tab.
6. View results and statistics and sync/download grades from the task Results tab.

Alternative workflow

You can also create a poll or assessment from the exercise catalog. On any exercise tile, click “add to” and follow the prompt to creating a new task.
